Content Guidelines

Every film on LokeTV carries a maturity label and a list of content descriptors, shown on its card and again before it plays. Creators set them; we review them. This page says what each one means.
The labels
- All audiences. Nothing that would trouble a child. No nudity, no sexual content, no graphic violence, no strong language, no drug use.
- Teen, 13+. May contain some violence, some language, brief suggestive content and mature themes handled without graphic detail.
- Mature, 18+. May contain nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, strong language, drug use and horror. Shown only to viewers who have confirmed they are 18 or older and have Mature titles switched on in their account.
The descriptors
A film lists every descriptor that applies: Nudity, Sexual content, Violence, Language, Drug use, Horror. A Mature film with no descriptors is not published.
What we do not publish, under any label
- Anything sexual involving a person under 18, or anyone presented as a minor.
- Sexual content whose purpose is arousal rather than story. LokeTV publishes cinema. Pornography belongs elsewhere.
- A real identifiable person depicted without their consent, sexually or otherwise.
- Non-consensual sexual acts presented approvingly, sexual violence presented approvingly, or content that encourages self harm.
- Anything the creator does not hold the rights to, including music.
- Hate directed at a group of people.
Reporting
Every film has a report button. A report goes to the owner, who watches the film and decides. A film that breaks these guidelines is removed and its creator is told why. Copyright complaints follow the DMCA page. Anything else goes to support@lokeai.tv.
Where the labels come from
Our labels are our own descriptions, in the spirit of television parental guidelines. They are not ratings issued by the Motion Picture Association or any other board, and we never describe a film as Rated R or PG-13.
