We use as few as we can, and all of them are ours.

The four we set

• Session cookie. Remembers you are logged in. It expires after 30 days or when you log out.
• Age confirmation cookie. Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older, so you are not asked before every Mature film. It expires after 30 days.
• Viewer cookie. A random id for a browser that is not logged in, so a film you have finished is not shown to you again and so views are counted once. It identifies a browser, not a person.
• Event cookie. Lasts sixty seconds and carries one page-event name (such as "signup") across a redirect, so our own visit counts are right. It holds nothing about you.

Analytics

We count page views and events with privacy-friendly analytics that set no advertising cookie and do not identify you.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no cross-site profiling. We do not sell data.

Turning them off

Your browser can block cookies. If you block ours you will be asked to confirm your age before every Mature film and you will not be able to stay logged in.
